Cool Grey Brickette

Yes, Brickette Gris Froid can stay in full sun: Carocim applies a systematic anti-UV treatment to every cement tile made for outdoor use. This protection slows pigment fading and keeps the Gris Froid shade close to its original tone season after season. It is a standard applied across the whole range of outdoor Carocim cement tiles.

Brickette Gris Froid sells at €559.50 per m², the rate Carocim lists for this cement tile, shipping excluded. That Carocim rate covers the handmade production of the tile and stays the same whichever colourway you pick, with no surcharge tied to the shade, across the range. For 1 m², budget around €559.50, roughly 3 boxes of Brickette Gris Froid.

Brickette Gris Froid ships in boxes of 60 cement tiles, covering 0.48 m² per box. That packaging, the same across the whole Carocim cement tile range, is what you use to calculate the quantity to order.

Brickette Gris Froid skips the large square format: it takes the elongated-brick route instead, 4 x 20 cm, 16 mm thick, as a Carocim cement tile. This rectangular format, noticeably thicker than standard ceramic tiling, works well in rows, herringbone or mixed layouts, and remains the only size Carocim offers for this design.

No, this slight variation is not a defect on Brickette Gris Froid: it is part of the charm of a handmade cement tile. Since each tile is cast and pressed by hand, small nuances remain from one piece to the next at Carocim, a mark of artisanal rather than industrial production.
