Acadia White & Grey Tile

20 x 20 cm of white and grey define this Carocim cement tile: an ornamental motif blending geometric lines with stylised botanical elements for an elegant, refined and timeless result. Designed by Carocim, it belongs to the Classiques collection and reflects artisanal craftsmanship applied to a refined graphic pattern, at once understated and decorative.

Rated for outdoor use, this cement tile always receives Carocim's systematic anti-UV treatment before shipping. That protection limits pigment fading and keeps the contrast between the white and grey of the motif consistent over time, even in full sun, provided a water-repellent sealer is reapplied regularly.

No single coat makes this cement tile fully waterproof: a water- and oil-repellent sealer blocks the material's natural pores and limits stain absorption, but regular care remains necessary. Carocim recommends bonded double-buttering installation, fine grout joints and cleaning with a pH-neutral soap, never acid or bleach.

Each cement tile is hand-poured and hand-coloured, one by one, so slight variations in shade or pattern from tile to tile are normal and part of the charm of this Carocim artisanal process. Far from a flaw, this natural irregularity gives a laid floor a lively look no standardised industrial tiling can match.

1 to 2 mm of fine grout joint is generally enough for this cement tile, laid on a level screed to keep the ornamental motif's geometric lines flowing smoothly from one tile to the next via bonded double-buttering. Carocim recommends a grout tone close to the white or grey of the design.
