Déscription du carreau Billy Neon Yellow Tile

Carocim invited Petit Pan to breathe new life into each of its flagship models.

The Billy Neon Yellow cement tile from Carocim's new ⟨RE⟩Visité collection is crafted using precise handwork, requiring six steps, all carried out by the artisan. This tile requires no firing and very little water during its production. Any slight variation or irregularity is a testament to the tile's authenticity and an integral part of the handcrafted manufacturing process.

Usage recommendations
This product is not recommended for outdoor use.
Neon pigments, being naturally less stable, can lose intensity when exposed to direct sunlight. To preserve the vibrancy of the colors over time, we recommend installation in windowless rooms (bathrooms, hallways, etc.) and the mandatory application of a UV-resistant coating.

Is there a black and white version of Carreau Billy Jaune Néon?

No, this cement tile is only listed in its neon yellow, light blue, grey and white palette, with a geometric motif of symmetrical circles and triangles. No black-and-white version is mentioned on this Carocim data sheet, as the vivid colourway is precisely the signature of Carreau Billy Jaune Néon.

How often does Carreau Billy Jaune Néon need looking after?

Yes, vinegar is an acid and should be avoided, since it can permanently damage this cement tile's porous surface and pigments. Regular upkeep is enough for Carreau Billy Jaune Néon: frequent sweeping and an occasional wash with pH-neutral soap, with no fixed schedule imposed by Carocim.

Can the pattern of Carreau Billy Jaune Néon be used as a tile rug in the middle of a room?

0.04 m² is the coverage of a single Carocim cement tile, here carrying a geometric motif of symmetrical circles and triangles in neon yellow, light blue, grey and white. This bright, energetic result works well as a standalone accent rug of tiles, framed by plain tiles, to concentrate the colourful effect of Carreau Billy Jaune Néon.

How many square metres do 100 Carreau Billy Jaune Néon tiles cover?

Rated for indoor use only, this cement tile covers 0.04 m² per single piece, with a box of 12 pieces covering 0.48 m². One hundred Carreau Billy Jaune Néon tiles therefore cover around 4 m², a useful calculation for sizing a room before ordering from Carocim.

Do I need a specialist tiler to lay Carreau Billy Jaune Néon?

Yes, the bonded double-buttering technique specific to cement tiles requires expertise that not every tiler masters. Carocim recommends entrusting the installation of Carreau Billy Jaune Néon, rated for indoor use only, to a professional familiar with this material, to keep the motif crisp on either walls or floors.
