Black Church Tile

12 tiles to a box covering 0.48 m² — that much is confirmed; the pallet count, however, is not listed in the specifications of Carreau Church Noir. Since each 16 mm cement tile is a dense handmade piece, shipping is organised carefully by weight: ask Carocim for pallet details and delivery options for your quantity.

Think of the decorated floors that graced late nineteenth-century homes, the golden age of the cement tile: Carreau Church Noir revives that ornamental grammar of scrolls and symmetrical forms, reinterpreted by Carocim for the Classiques collection. Its white, black, grey and red palette gives the historic style a crisp, contrasted and timeless presence.

No headcount appears in this product's specifications, and honestly the number matters less than the gestures: every Carreau Church Noir passes through hands that pour the pigments, press the cement tile and control its curing, entirely without firing. To learn more about the workshop team behind the craft, Carocim will gladly tell the story.

Logically, gentler exposure means gentler ageing — but with this tile the distinction barely matters: Carreau Church Noir is outdoor-rated and protected by Carocim's systematic anti-UV treatment, so its white, black, grey and red pigments keep their true colours under morning light or blazing afternoons alike. Seal the cement tile and enjoy either orientation.

20 x 20 cm is the format listed for this reference, at 16 mm thick — no custom dimensions appear in the specifications of Carreau Church Noir. The Church design does exist as a corner piece for framing layouts. For a bespoke format or a special project, submit your request to Carocim, the editor of this cement tile.
