Toumèto Green Pine Forest Tile

Yes, slight shade variations exist from one tile to another on this Carocim cement tile, a direct result of the hand-poured pigment. On Grande Étoile Rouge Sainte-Victoire, this deep ochre red, reminiscent of the mountain painted by Cézanne, actually gains depth from these nuances, far from the uniformity of a mass-produced tile.

Sold by the square metre rather than individually, this Carocim cement tile is ordered in full boxes to cover the intended surface. The box of Grande Étoile Rouge Sainte-Victoire holds 12 tiles for 0.48 square metres, a handy base figure for working out exactly how many boxes an order will need.

No, the pattern of this Carocim cement tile is never perfectly identical from one piece to another: each star is hand-pressed, with very slight differences in outline. On Grande Étoile Rouge Sainte-Victoire, this deliberate irregularity is exactly what sets it apart from a machine-printed pattern, which always lines up perfectly.

This Carocim cement tile is pressed, not cast by free pouring: a brass mould defines the pattern, then a hydraulic press compacts the layers of pigment and mortar. On Grande Étoile Rouge Sainte-Victoire, this pressing guarantees a consistent flatness while keeping the star pattern's original sharpness fully intact.

€220.50 per square metre for this Carocim cement tile, treated against UV before shipping precisely to preserve its look over years of sun exposure. On Grande Étoile Rouge Sainte-Victoire, this deep ochre red keeps its strength without fading to a washed-out pink, even after full seasons spent outdoors in the sun.
