Déscription du carreau Pink Fairground Tile

Carocim invited Petit Pan to breathe new life into each of its flagship models.

The Kermesse Rose cement tile from Carocim's new ⟨RE⟩Visité collection, crafted through meticulous handwork, requires six steps, all carried out by the artisan. This tile requires no firing and very little water during its production. Any slight variation or irregularity attests to the tile's authenticity and is an integral part of the handcrafted manufacturing process. Usage recommendations
This product is not recommended for outdoor use.
Neon pigments, being naturally less stable, can lose intensity when exposed to direct sunlight. To preserve the vibrancy of the colors over time, we recommend installation in windowless rooms (bathrooms, hallways, etc.) and the mandatory application of a UV-resistant coating.

FAQ

Vos questions fréquentes

What justifies the price of Carreau Kermesse Rose?

€226.80 per square metre is the position of Kermesse Rose, a hand-cast decorated model signed Petit Pan; a plain cement tile, quicker to mould, naturally sits lower in the Carocim price list. The gap pays for the multi-compartment divider mould and the meticulous colour work behind the pink and taupe star pattern.

Which products should be avoided when cleaning Carreau Kermesse Rose?

When caring for a cement tile, a short blacklist applies: no acids, no bleach, no descalers and no aggressive detergents, all of which would etch the pink and taupe pigmented layer. Warm water and pH-neutral soap are all Kermesse Rose needs, together with the hydro-oil-repellent sealer that Carocim recommends renewing periodically.

What mood does the pattern of Carreau Kermesse Rose create?

Yes, there is a clear fascination at play: petit Pan built the Kermesse design around a central star embraced by circular shapes, a joyful geometry that repeats gracefully from tile to tile. In this pink and taupe version for Carocim, the cement tile turns that festive vocabulary into something delicate, graphic and remarkably harmonious.

Are the dimensions of Carreau Kermesse Rose perfectly regular?

Cutting is entirely feasible on site: use a water-cooled diamond blade, work without forcing and soften the edges with an abrasive stone. Bear in mind that reducing this 20 x 20 cm Carocim cement tile truncates the star motif, so reserve cuts for room edges where the eye forgives them most easily.

Should a tile layout plan be drawn up before laying Carreau Kermesse Rose?

dampening is the rule here: unlike terracotta, a cement tile is laid dry, on a clean level substrate, with double-buttering adhesive. Dampening would compromise bonding and could stain the pink and taupe surface. Follow Carocim's dry-laying method, finish with fine joints, then seal after complete drying.
