The Bee Tile

The Bee is part of the SU.Real collection, designed by Marta Pignol for Carocim®, from the "Flavors" imagery. In a surrealist interpretation, the bee is an ambiguous figure; at the crossroads of order and chaos, femininity and instinct, beauty and latent danger... Each tile is handcrafted using a demanding artisanal method. Composed of cement, sand, marble powder, and natural pigments, it is made without firing, with reduced water consumption. Its texture and any irregularities reveal the artisan's hand and reinforce its uniqueness.
