FAQ

Vos questions fréquentes

How does the format of Carreau L Gris Froid affect the look of the pattern?

20 x 20 cm: this square format of Carreau L Gris Froid shows off its solid shade without visual interruption, unlike a rectangular format that would multiply the joints. This Carocim cement tile keeps a consistent, continuous look across the whole laid surface.

How many Carreau L Gris Froid tiles should I allow for 15 square metres?

At 20 x 20 cm, Carreau L Gris Froid works out to 25 cement tiles per m², or roughly 375 tiles to cover 15 m². Carocim recommends ordering a few extra tiles for cuts, though no exact margin is stated on the product page.

How much does Carreau L Gris Froid cost?

Yes, the price is clearly listed: Carreau L Gris Froid costs €129.30 per m² from Carocim, a rate specific to this solid-colour, 20 x 20 cm cement tile. This amount covers the full handcrafted process, from pouring the pigments to natural drying.

Does the sun make Carreau L Gris Froid look dull?

Carocim applies an anti-UV treatment to Carreau L Gris Froid, which is rated for outdoor use, greatly limiting any dulling caused by the sun. Its cool grey shade stays stable even after several years of direct exposure on a terrace or rooftop. This Carocim cement tile is handmade in the workshop.

How many models does the collection of Carreau L Gris Froid include?

The exact number of designs isn't stated on the product page, but Carreau L Gris Froid belongs to the 20 x 20 cm solid-colour range Carocim produces in-house. This cement tile collection brings together several understated shades, including this mineral cool grey.
