The Grenade Tile

The Grenade is part of the SU.Real collection, designed by Marta Pignol for Carocim®, from the "Flavours" picture book.

An ancient and sacred fruit, the pomegranate evokes femininity, fertility, the cycle of life, as well as sudden metamorphoses.

Each tile is handcrafted using a demanding artisanal method. Composed of cement, sand, marble powder, and natural pigments, it is made without firing, using minimal water. Its texture and any slight irregularities reveal the artisan's touch and enhance its uniqueness.
