Carreau la Montagne

The Mountain is part of the SU.Real collection, designed by Marta Pignol for Carocim®, from the "Universe" picture book.

Majestic and silent, the mountain figures in the surrealist imagination as a symbol of elevation, inner struggle, and perseverance in the face of the unknown. It evokes the spiritual quest, creative solitude, and the verticality of dreams.

Each tile is handcrafted using a demanding artisanal method. Composed of cement, sand, marble powder, and natural pigments, it is made without firing, using minimal water. Its texture and any slight irregularities reveal the artisan's touch and enhance its uniqueness.
