Carreau le Désert

The Desert is part of the SU.Real collection, designed by Marta Pignol for Carocim®, from the "Universe" picture book.

In surrealism, the desert is a vast and silent mental space, a symbol of introspection, solitude, and transformation. It embodies the infinity of the imagination and the arid beauty of an inner world.

Each tile is handcrafted using a demanding artisanal method. Composed of cement, sand, marble powder, and natural pigments, it is made without firing, using minimal water. Its texture and any slight irregularities reveal the artisan's touch and enhance its uniqueness.
