Déscription du carreau Neon Pink Meteor Tile

Carocim invited Petit Pan to breathe new life into each of its flagship models.

The Mikko Météore Rose Néon cement tile from Carocim's new ⟨RE⟩Visité collection is crafted using precise handwork, requiring six steps, all carried out by the artisan. This tile is an eco-friendly flooring made from natural pigments, sand, marble, and cement. It requires no firing and very little water during its production.

Any slight variation or irregularity testifies to the guarantee of authenticity of this tile and is an integral part of the manual manufacturing process.

Usage recommendations
This product is not recommended for outdoor use.
Neon pigments, being naturally less stable, can lose intensity when exposed to direct sunlight. To preserve the vibrancy of the colors over time, we recommend installation in windowless rooms (bathrooms, hallways, etc.) and the mandatory application of a UV-resistant coating.

Is Carreau Météore Rose Néon laid edge to edge or with a wide grout joint?

The cement tile rule is the thin joint: Carreau Météore Rose Néon is glued with double buttering and narrow joints that preserve the continuity of its grey, pink and yellow radiating motif. Neither edge to edge nor wide joints: Carocim recommends this traditional installation for a flawless finish.

Does the price of Carreau Météore Rose Néon include the water-repellent sealer treatment?

€226.80 per m²: this price covers Carreau Météore Rose Néon itself; the water- and oil-repellent pore sealer, applied after laying, is not listed as included on the sheet. Budget for this treatment: it determines the stain resistance of any Carocim cement tile.

How do the variations in Carreau Météore Rose Néon contribute to the final look?

From one tile to the next, subtle nuance differences appear: that is the signature of handwork. On a laid floor, these variations of Carreau Météore Rose Néon create a luminous vibration between grey, pink and yellow that industry cannot imitate. The Carocim cement tile gains a living, unique depth.

Is the pattern of Carreau Météore Rose Néon printed on or set into the body of the tile?

No, nothing is printed: the radiating motif of Carreau Météore Rose Néon is embedded in the body, its grey, pink and yellow pigments poured then pressed following the traditional cement tile method. This thick wear layer, a durability pledge at Carocim, lets the design cross the decades.

Should I order more Carreau Météore Rose Néon than the exact area to be covered?

A safety margin is essential: always order more Carreau Météore Rose Néon than your exact surface, to absorb cuts, adjustments and future repairs — diagonal layouts consume even more. Each Carocim box holds 12 tiles covering 0.48 m²; round up so your cement tiles come from the same production batch.
