FAQ

Vos questions fréquentes

How many square metres do 100 Carreau Palmier Nude tiles cover?

One box equals 0.48 m²: that figure is your calculator for Carreau Palmier Nude. Measure your surface, add roughly ten percent for cuts, divide by 0.48 and round up to whole boxes of 12 tiles. Each 20 x 20 cm Carocim cement tile covers 0.04 m² if you prefer counting per piece. The team at Carocim.com can verify your total.

How is Carreau Palmier Nude dried after it is made?

16 millimetres of hand-pressed material, zero firing: Carreau Palmier Nude is made the historic way, with nude, grey-blue and beige pigment slurries poured one by one into a divider mould, pressed hydraulically and air-cured slowly. Every Carocim cement tile therefore carries slight, living variations, the mark of an artisan's hand that no factory line can imitate.

What is the risk of Carreau Palmier Nude fading on a terrace?

Under glass, light pours in all day, and that is exactly the situation Carocim prepares its tiles for: Carreau Palmier Nude is rated for outdoor use and receives the workshop's systematic anti-UV treatment, keeping the nude, grey-blue and beige pigments true to their real colours. In a conservatory, this cement tile also stays pleasantly cool underfoot.

Does the water-repellent sealer on Carreau Palmier Nude darken its colour slightly?

No, not when you choose correctly: a quality penetrating, non-film-forming sealer soaks into Carreau Palmier Nude and preserves its naturally matt, gently grippy surface. Avoid glossy waxes or varnish-like coatings, which are the real slip culprits. Properly sealed, this Carocim cement tile keeps the soft, velvety feel that makes the palm motif so pleasant to live with.

Does the pattern of Carreau Palmier Nude give an impression of relief?

The palm design of Carreau Palmier Nude lives in a physical divider mould, so the pattern itself is fixed, but colours are another story: Carocim pours every cement tile by hand and already offers this motif in several colourways.
