FAQ

Vos questions fréquentes

Should I order more Carreau Plaquette 1 Clair Argile than the exact area to be covered?

Yes, order roughly 10% more than the exact surface to cover with Carreau Plaquette 1 Clair Argile, to allow for cuts and layout waste. Carocim recommends this margin on every cement tile, and even more for a diagonal layout. Carocim remains available for any further detail on this cement tile.

How many boxes of Carreau Plaquette 1 Clair Argile are needed for 10 square metres?

21 boxes of Carreau Plaquette 1 Clair Argile are needed for 10 m², based on Carocim's 0.48 m² per 12-tile box, rounded up to a full box. Add a margin for cuts on this cement tile. Carocim remains available for any further detail on this cement tile.

What is the risk of Carreau Plaquette 1 Clair Argile fading on a terrace?

Very limited: the risk of fading for Carreau Plaquette 1 Clair Argile on a terrace stays low, thanks to this treatment that durably protects the light shade of this tile. Carocim systematically applies this anti-UV treatment to its cement tiles rated for outdoor use, and Carreau Plaquette 1 Clair Argile is one of them.

What is the total cost for 10 square metres of Carreau Plaquette 1 Clair Argile?

€2,205.00 covers the total cost of 10 m² of Carreau Plaquette 1 Clair Argile, based on Carocim's €220.50 per m², before installation. You will need 21 boxes to cover those 10 m² with the usual cutting allowance for this cement tile.

Why is Carreau Plaquette 1 Clair Argile so thick?

Carreau Plaquette 1 Clair Argile is 16 mm thick, a standard measurement for a traditional cement tile: this thickness gives the cold-pressed material its mechanical strength and allows the surface to be levelled after laying, without weakening the tile Carocim produces.
