Tile Plate 1 Dark Chicory

Carreau Plaquette 1 Foncé Chicorée is called an artisanal tile because it is made by hand, one tile at a time, with no automated production line. Carocim entrusts its production to a partner workshop that presses each pigment layer then lets the cement tile air-dry for several weeks before shipping.

Very little: the colour of Carreau Plaquette 1 Foncé Chicorée stays very stable after several summers in the sun, at worst gaining a light natural patina that does not harm the overall look of this tile. Carocim systematically applies this anti-UV treatment to its cement tiles rated for outdoor use, and Carreau Plaquette 1 Foncé Chicorée is one of them.

Yes, the sealant very slightly deepens the dark colour of Carreau Plaquette 1 Foncé Chicorée, a normal effect that brings out the depth of the cement tile's pigments. This subtle shift settles once the Carocim sealant has fully cured. Carocim remains available for any further detail on this cement tile.

Note: at €220.50 per m², Carreau Plaquette 1 Foncé Chicorée sits toward the upper end of handmade cement tile pricing, reflecting the hand-pressing and natural pigments involved. This positioning at Carocim stays consistent with the quality and durability expected of this kind of tile.

Acidic products must be avoided on Carreau Plaquette 1 Foncé Chicorée because they dissolve the water-repellent sealant and attack the porous cement surface, leaving permanent dull marks. This Carocim cement tile only needs pH-neutral soap to stay intact. Carocim remains available for any further detail on this cement tile.
