FAQ

Vos questions fréquentes

How good is the UV resistance of Carreau Plaquette 1 Foncé Porterie?

Excellent: the UV performance of Carreau Plaquette 1 Foncé Porterie lets its dark shade stay true to the original over many years of sun exposure, for this cement tile. Carocim systematically applies this anti-UV treatment to its cement tiles rated for outdoor use, and Carreau Plaquette 1 Foncé Porterie is one of them.

How are Carreau Plaquette 1 Foncé Porterie tiles packed for transport?

Tiles of Carreau Plaquette 1 Foncé Porterie are packed flat, 12 per reinforced box at Carocim, cushioned to limit knocks during transport. Each box represents 0.48 m² of this ready-to-lay cement tile. Carocim remains available for any further detail on this cement tile.

What is the story of the collection Carreau Plaquette 1 Foncé Porterie comes from?

Carocim does not document a specific backstory for a collection behind Carreau Plaquette 1 Foncé Porterie: this cement tile belongs to the Plaquette range, with its graphic, contemporary pattern designed by Studio BrichetZiegler, rather than a formally named, storied collection.

How much does a single Carreau Plaquette 1 Foncé Porterie tile cost?

A single Carreau Plaquette 1 Foncé Porterie tile costs around €8.82, calculated from Carocim's €220.50 per m² rate and the 12 tiles per 0.48 m² box for this cement tile. Carocim remains available for any further detail on this cement tile.

Is Carreau Plaquette 1 Foncé Porterie installed with adhesive or bedded in mortar?

Carreau Plaquette 1 Foncé Porterie is installed using a bonded method, with a flexible tile adhesive double-buttered onto both the tile and the surface. The older mortar-bed method is no longer recommended by Carocim for this dark cement tile. Carocim remains available for any further detail on this cement tile.
