FAQ

Vos questions fréquentes

Do the colours of Carreau Plaquette 1 Foncé Tourterelle hold up outdoors?

Yes, the Tourterelle tones of Carreau Plaquette 1 Foncé Tourterelle do hold up outdoors, without prolonged sun exposure dulling them noticeably, on this cement tile. Carocim systematically applies this anti-UV treatment to its cement tiles rated for outdoor use, and Carreau Plaquette 1 Foncé Tourterelle is one of them.

Can other shades from the U colour chart be chosen for Carreau Plaquette 1 Foncé Tourterelle?

Yes, other shades from the U colour chart can be chosen for this cement tile pattern used on Carreau Plaquette 1 Foncé Tourterelle, since Carocim offers this graphic motif to order in different references. A physical sample is still recommended to confirm the shade before production begins.

Is white vinegar harmful to Carreau Plaquette 1 Foncé Tourterelle?

Like any acidic product, white vinegar is harmful to Carreau Plaquette 1 Foncé Tourterelle because it eats into the sealant and attacks the cement itself, leaving dull, permanent marks. A Carocim cement tile should only be cleaned with pH-neutral soap and water.

Is the format of Carreau Plaquette 1 Foncé Tourterelle suitable for a small room?

Yes, the 20 x 20 cm format of Carreau Plaquette 1 Foncé Tourterelle suits a small room: its dimensions stay manageable for edge cuts, and its dark shade avoids overwhelming a tight space, a real advantage of this Carocim cement tile.

Does the sealer protect Carreau Plaquette 1 Foncé Tourterelle from grease stains in the kitchen?

Yes, the water- and oil-repellent sealant protects Carreau Plaquette 1 Foncé Tourterelle from kitchen grease stains by closing the cement tile's pores. Wipe up spills promptly though: the treatment limits staining but does not make this Carocim tile fully impervious over time.
