FAQ

Vos questions fréquentes

What craftsmanship lies behind Carreau Plaquette 2 Clair Hibou?

Behind Carreau Plaquette 2 Clair Hibou lies the craft of hand-pressed cement tile making, carried on at Carocim's partner workshop and shaped by designer Studio BrichetZiegler. Each pigment layer is measured then compacted under a hydraulic press before a long air-drying period, with no firing at all.

Can Carreau Plaquette 2 Clair Hibou be paired with wood flooring?

Yes, Carreau Plaquette 2 Clair Hibou pairs well with parquet flooring: its graphic, contemporary pattern contrasts nicely with wood in an open kitchen or entrance hall, a popular way to use this Carocim cement tile to zone a space without a wall.

Is Carreau Plaquette 2 Clair Hibou sold by the box or individually?

Carreau Plaquette 2 Clair Hibou is sold by the full box at Carocim, 12 tiles for 0.48 m², not individually. This rule ensures a consistent light batch for this cement tile. Carocim remains available for any further detail on this cement tile.

How many Carreau Plaquette 2 Clair Hibou tiles should I allow for 15 square metres?

375 tiles of Carreau Plaquette 2 Clair Hibou at minimum cover 15 m², which means 32 boxes of 12 tiles at Carocim once rounded up. Always allow a 10% margin for cuts on this cement tile. Carocim remains available for any further detail on this cement tile.

How does Carreau Plaquette 2 Clair Hibou behave when exposed to UV rays?

Against UV rays, Carreau Plaquette 2 Clair Hibou keeps the intensity of its light shade on an exposed terrace or façade, without prematurely yellowing or fading. Carocim systematically applies this anti-UV treatment to its cement tiles rated for outdoor use, and Carreau Plaquette 2 Clair Hibou is one of them.
