Light Poetic Tile

A quality pore-filling sealer slightly deepens tones — the same effect as a wet surface — before drying to a near-invisible finish. On Carreau Poétique Clair, the blue, green, yellow and pink palette keeps its luminosity. Test on one Carocim cement tile first, and prefer matt, non-film-forming sealers to preserve the natural feel.

5 colours — blue, green, yellow, pink and white — had to be balanced in this sinuous floral design, and Carocim does not publish the time spent drawing it. What matters is the result: a decorative, luminous cement tile whose pattern reflects the patient, unhurried craft behind every handmade Carocim creation.

Starting from your floor area, the maths is simple: Carreau Poétique Clair measures 20 × 20 cm, giving 25 tiles per m², and each box of 12 covers 0.48 m². Divide your surface by 0.48, round up, and add a cutting margin. Keeping a few spare Carocim cement tiles is wise for future repairs.

No, uneven fading is not something to fear here: Carocim systematically protects its outdoor cement tiles with an anti-UV treatment, so the pigments of Carreau Poétique Clair respond uniformly to light. Keep the whole floor under the same care routine — neutral soap, periodic resealing — and the luminous palette will age evenly and gracefully.

Matt and mineral, the surface of a cement tile reacts gently to lighting: under warm bulbs, the yellow and pink of Carreau Poétique Clair glow softly, while cooler light emphasises blue and green. Colours never shift dramatically — Carocim's pigments are in the mass — but order a sample to judge them under your own lamps.
