Red Circular Pattern Tile

Warm, unmistakably: the red of Carreau Trame Circulaire Rouge is an earthy, mineral shade that radiates against its white ground. Like every pigment Carocim works into its cement tiles, it has a matt, velvety depth rather than a cold gloss. Expect a welcoming, sunny presence that flatters wood, brass and cream walls.

12 tiles of 20 × 20 cm and 16 mm thickness make a box of Carreau Trame Circulaire Rouge a genuinely heavy load — Carocim does not publish an exact figure, but pressed cement tiles are dense by nature. Handle cartons with care, plan the delivery drop-off close to the site, and carry boxes one at a time.

For flooring, thickness is reassurance: at 16 mm, Carreau Trame Circulaire Rouge exceeds the section of most ceramic tiles and is fully suited to floors, indoors and out. That solid body lets the Carocim cement tile absorb daily traffic and even future light sanding. Lay it with double buttering on a sound screed and it will serve for decades.

Yes — colourfastness is engineered in: Carocim systematically applies an anti-UV treatment to its exterior cement tiles, so the pigments of Carreau Trame Circulaire Rouge are protected at the source. Because the red and white are solid coloured material pressed into the tile, not a surface print, outdoor light meets colour that is real through and through.

This pattern is homegrown: Carreau Trame Circulaire Rouge comes from Carocim's own drawing table, within the Classiques collection, rather than from an external collaboration. Its repeating petals forming a floral effect illustrate the studio's in-house geometric repertoire — an original cement tile design in red and white, pressed by hand like every Carocim creation.
