Flatbed Beams

In a period home, cement objects naturally sit alongside older materials like stone or weathered wood: Dessous Plat Faisceaux fits right in. Carocim designs this trivet with the same artisanal spirit as its tiles, made for characterful interiors.

A weave of graphic lines makes up the pattern of Dessous Plat Faisceaux, designed by Carocim as an object that is both useful and decorative. Its carefully drawn surface turns it into a piece set on the table for more than its protective role alone. Carocim sees it as an accessory that can structure a table just as much as protect it.

Yes, Dessous Plat Faisceaux fits the Carocim world perfectly, carried by its graphic pattern and quiet restraint. Carocim selects it for how well it converses with the rest of its decorative range, all clean lines and considered materials. It rounds out a carefully set table without ever stealing the spotlight.

A neutral dominant defines Dessous Plat Faisceaux, somewhere between cement grey and warmer undertones depending on the ambient light. Carocim does not fix a single shade for this handmade trivet: each piece can vary slightly, a typical trait of artisanally cast cement.

As with any cement object, acidity attacks the surface and can permanently dull the material: that is why Carocim advises against any acidic product on Dessous Plat Faisceaux. Mild soap and lukewarm water are enough to care for it without risking its original matte look.
