Toumèto Green Pine Forest Tile

How often the sealer needs renewing mainly depends on how exposed the cement tile is, rather than on a fixed schedule. Outdoors, on Imagier Zodiac Moutarde Ancienne, Carocim recommends an annual check to see whether water still beads on the surface, a sign that it is time to reapply the treatment. Indoors, this needs doing far less often.

Imagier Zodiac Moutarde Ancienne is available in the square 20 x 20 cm format, the standard size for cement tile at Carocim. This single format makes the layout easier and guarantees direct compatibility with the other colourways in the Zodiac collection. Other dimensions do exist elsewhere in the Carocim catalogue, but not for this particular reference.

Ten square metres of Imagier Zodiac Moutarde Ancienne come to €2,205 at Carocim's rate of €220.50 per square metre. This figure covers the cement tile itself, before fitting, adhesive and grout, which are added depending on the project. An allowance for cutting waste should also be planned on top of this base area.

The colour chosen for the grout strongly affects how a graphic pattern like the one on Imagier Zodiac Moutarde Ancienne reads on a cement tile. A grout close to the mustard shade blurs the joint lines for a more continuous look, while a light grey grout highlights each tile individually. Carocim recommends testing both options on an offcut before deciding.

Yes, an anti-UV treatment is systematically applied by Carocim to cement tiles intended for outdoor use, which includes Imagier Zodiac Moutarde Ancienne. This protection aims to preserve the intensity of the mustard shade against the prolonged sun exposure of a terrace or balcony. Regular cleaning with a neutral soap adds a further layer of defence against fading.
