Paloma Blanc

Look at old decorated floors and you will find birds and foliage; Paloma Blanc belongs to that family, and its refined swallow works just as well vertically. On a splashback, a bathroom wall or a fireplace surround, this 20 x 20 cm Carocim cement tile in black, red and white keeps its light, airy presence. Floor or wall, the swallow flies either way.

The tile is made in a single 16 mm thickness, the traditional build of a pressed cement tile, and it installs perfectly well on walls with proper double-spread adhesive. There is no thinner variant of Paloma Blanc listed; if weight is a constraint for your wall project, discuss it with Carocim and your tiler before ordering.

Carocim's U colour chart serves as the palette for composing custom cement tiles, and exterior-bound tiles systematically receive the anti-UV treatment that protects their pigments. When ordering a bespoke Paloma Blanc for outdoors, simply confirm your chosen U references with the Carocim team: they will validate the combination for sun exposure so your swallow motif keeps true colours outside.

Full sun is planned for: as an exterior-rated Carocim cement tile, Paloma Blanc carries the systematic anti-UV treatment that shields its black, red and white pigments, so poolside glare will not wash the swallow out. Add a pore-filling and water-repellent treatment against splashes and sunscreen stains, keep cleaning to neutral soap, and the 20 x 20 cm tiles will thrive.

Both play well, but differently: black fittings echo the graphic outline of the swallow and sharpen the modern feel of this Carocim cement tile, while brass warms the palette and flatters the red accent. In a bathroom or kitchen laid with Paloma Blanc, choose black for contrast and rigour, brass for softness and a more vintage, airy charm.
