Concave Tile

No, waxing isn't part of the upkeep this Carocim cement tile needs once the water- and oil-repellent sealer treatment has been applied: that sealing already protects the surface, and adding wax on top would only complicate future cleaning and resealing down the line.

After years of UV exposure, this Carocim cement tile retains its colour thanks to the anti-UV treatment applied during manufacturing: the Tapenade Ébony pigments are protected at the pressing stage, so fading stays far more limited than on an untreated indoor-only tile.

This isn't compared against specific competitor pricing in the available product information, so competitiveness can't be confirmed precisely here. What is clear is that this Carocim cement tile's price includes fully handmade production and built-in outdoor-grade sealing and UV protection.

Yes, this Carocim cement tile pairs particularly well with mid-century furniture: the rich Tapenade Ébony palette and the structured geometry of the Congruence pattern echo the bold, sculptural character typical of that era's design, especially with walnut or teak pieces.

Behind a kitchen hob, a splashback in this Carocim cement tile works well once sealed: the water- and oil-repellent sealer finish resists grease and steam, and the deep Tapenade Ébony tones give that often-plain wall real visual weight without needing extra decoration.
