Agrigento Charcoal & White Tile

Both worlds meet in it: the four-lobed clover began as a plant form, but Paola Navone distils it into clean geometry framed by a fine contrasting outline. Rendered in natural umber and vanilla, this Carocim cement tile keeps an earthy, organic warmth inside a strictly drawn figure. Carreau Agrigento Ombre Naturelle & Vanille is nature remembered through a geometer's eye.

Ordering works by the box: each one contains 12 tiles of Carreau Agrigento Ombre Naturelle & Vanille, covering 0.48 m² at €220.50 per m². For very small needs, a single box already makes a niche, a doormat inset or a shelf backing. Confirm any special request with Carocim directly; the team advises on quantities for every cement tile project.

Not quite: one box holds 12 tiles and covers 0.48 m², roughly half a square metre. For one full square metre of Carreau Agrigento Ombre Naturelle & Vanille, plan on just over two boxes, and always round up to whole boxes with a cutting margin of about 10%. Carocim's per-m² price of €220.50 makes the cement tile budget easy to compute.

Twelve tiles to a box, every one made by hand: natural umber and vanilla pigments are poured into a brass divider set in the mould, the divider is lifted, and a hydraulic press compacts the layers before a long air drying, with no firing. This is the traditional cement tile method Carocim perpetuates, and Carreau Agrigento Ombre Naturelle & Vanille shows it in every detail.

There is truth in the saying, with a Carocim nuance: thanks to the systematic anti-UV treatment on exterior cement tiles, the pigments of Carreau Agrigento Ombre Naturelle & Vanille are protected and hold their true colours. What the years add is patina, a soft lived-in depth on the surface, rather than any loss of the warm umber and vanilla tones.
