FAQ

Vos questions fréquentes

What budget should I allow for a floor in Carreau Cercle Coco?

Yes, generally, and for a reason: Carreau Cercle Coco is a handmade cement tile priced at 220.50 euros per square metre, whereas mass-produced ceramic comes off industrial lines. Each Carocim piece is moulded, pigmented and pressed by hand, unrepeatable by nature. You are paying for craft, thickness — 16 mm — and a design signed by studio Heju.

Are the dimensions of Carreau Cercle Coco perfectly regular?

Cutting is part of every installation: a tile cutter or grinder fitted with a diamond blade handles Carreau Cercle Coco cleanly, for borders, corners or custom shapes. Bear in mind that cutting fragments the circle motif, so plan the layout to keep full tiles in sight lines. Your installer will treat this Carocim cement tile like any quality material.

Can the pattern of Carreau Cercle Coco be used as a tile rug in the middle of a room?

One single tile already carries the full drawing: each Carreau Cercle Coco holds its complete play of rounded shapes in blue and beige. Scattered as accents among plain tiles, or grouped in a small panel, the motif keeps its personality. That flexibility is a strength of this Carocim cement tile — striking en masse, charming in isolation.

Does the collection of Carreau Cercle Coco have a particular name?

Collaboration is indeed its origin: the collection was designed with Heju, a design studio whose minimalist, Mediterranean-modern eye shaped every motif — Arche, Cercle, Courbe. Carreau Cercle Coco carries that signature in blue and beige rounded forms. Working with outside creatives is part of how Carocim keeps the cement tile tradition alive and contemporary.

Is it possible to use Carreau Cercle Coco outside without the colours fading?

Yes, the blue is armed for sunshine: Carocim systematically applies an anti-UV treatment on outdoor-rated tiles, protecting the pigments of Carreau Cercle Coco so the blue and beige stay true on a sunny patio. Complete the protection with a pore sealer after laying and neutral-soap cleaning, and this cement tile will hold its contrast season after season.
