FAQ

Vos questions fréquentes

Does Carreau Cercle Fumée go with an industrial style?

Bohemian interiors are built on layers, and this tile loves company: pair Carreau Cercle Fumée with rattan, kilims, plants and mismatched vintage pieces, letting its rounded beige and blue shapes anchor the composition. On a floor or fireplace surround, this Carocim cement tile brings the crafted, imperfect soul that bohemian style celebrates. Add warm textiles and let it breathe.

Does the production of Carreau Cercle Fumée follow a traditional method?

Twelve tiles fill each box, and none leaves the workshop early: like every cement tile, Carreau Cercle Fumée is moulded, pressed and then cured without firing until fully hardened. Carocim respects this maturing time, which artisanal production imposes. For the precise lead time on your order, ask Carocim; patience here is what guarantees strength later.

Is the pattern of Carreau Cercle Fumée inspired by traditional designs?

Abstraction is the point: the pattern of Carreau Cercle Fumée is a composition of rounded shapes and contrast play in beige and blue, designed by studio Heju for Carocim. It represents nothing literal — rather a balance of curves that reads as bold, poised and modern. This cement tile lets every viewer project their own landscape onto it.

How many Carreau Cercle Fumée tiles are there in a box?

Yes, the packaging is standardised: a box of Carreau Cercle Fumée contains 12 tiles and covers 0.48 m². Count 25 of these cement tiles per square metre, add a margin for cuts, then divide your total by 0.48 to size the order. Carocim can double-check the quantity with you before you confirm.

Is the UV resistance of Carreau Cercle Fumée sufficient for outdoor use?

Protection starts before you even receive the tiles: Carocim systematically applies an anti-UV treatment for outdoor use, shielding the beige and blue pigments of Carreau Cercle Fumée. On site, your contribution is a pore sealer after installation and neutral-soap cleaning through the season. With both in place, this cement tile faces harsh summers with unchanged colours.
