Daisy check

16 mm of handcrafted cement and, above all, a systematic anti-UV treatment: Carocim protects the pigments of its outdoor-rated tiles so colours stay true under strong sun. The black and white daisies of this cement tile are therefore made to face bright exposure. Keep the sealer maintained and sunshine simply becomes part of the decor.

In a small bathroom, the 20 x 20 cm format usually wins: its scale suits compact walls and floors, cuts are easier around fittings, and the delicate black and white flower scattering brings pattern without overwhelming the room. A larger tile would lose its motif in cuts, while this Carocim cement tile keeps its rhythm intact.

Yes and no: no printed lookbook is mentioned on the product page, but Carocim.com presents the Martine Murat collection with visuals of each design — stylised daisies, swallows, Venetian friezes. Browsing the site remains the best way to picture this black and white cement tile alongside its companions before ordering from Carocim.

Payment terms are not detailed on the product page, where the listed price stands at €220.50 per square metre. For a large order of this black and white cement tile, contact Carocim directly: the workshop can confirm quotes, deposits and possible payment arrangements before production of your tiles begins.

One single tile already reads beautifully: each 20 x 20 cm piece carries the complete scattering of stylised black and white flowers, so isolated tiles can punctuate a plain floor or wall as graphic accents. Scatter a few Carocim cement tiles among neutral companions, or group four or nine for a mini tableau.
