Verdon Beams Tile

One box of Carreau Faisceaux Verdon represents 0.48 m², since this Carocim cement tile is packed in boxes of 12 tiles in the 20 x 20 cm format. This simple ratio between number of boxes and surface area makes it easy to calculate what is needed for a project using this Sim.PL collection cement tile.

For a 9 m² floor, at least 225 tiles of Carreau Faisceaux Verdon are needed, since this Carocim cement tile counts 25 pieces per square metre. An extra cutting margin is still recommended to absorb corner cuts, a common practice with any cement tile from the Sim.PL collection.

Before pairing Carreau Faisceaux Verdon with the rest of a room, play on contrast rather than similarity: simple furniture in light wood or black metal highlights the deep blue of the overlapping-curve pattern. This Carocim cement tile also lends itself well to a Mediterranean mood with Moorish or Andalusian influences.

Yes, the pattern on Carreau Faisceaux Verdon is indeed an original design, created in-house by Carocim's creative studio rather than borrowed from an existing traditional motif. This blue cement tile combines overlapping curves in a composition unique to the Sim.PL collection, for a bright, contemporary, recognisable look.

Carreau Faisceaux Verdon withstands the very sunny climates of the south of France thanks to the anti-UV treatment Carocim systematically applies to its outdoor cement tiles. The blue tones of the pattern may soften slightly over years of sun exposure, a natural, gradual ageing process rather than abrupt fading of the pigments.
