Galaxy Tile Wisteria & Calanques Blue

Breakage is precisely why professionals order a margin: keep about 10% extra when buying this Carocim cement tile, sold in boxes of 12 covering 0.48 m². If pieces arrive damaged, document them on the delivery note and contact Carocim promptly so the affected tiles can be dealt with.

One sealing coat changes everything: once treated with a water- and oil-repellent pore filler, renewed regularly, this Carocim cement tile can dress a shower. Ensure meticulous double-buttered laying, fine joints and pH-neutral cleaning only — never acids or bleach — to protect the violet, water-green and coral Petit Pan pattern.

Vinegar is the classic mistake with encaustic surfaces: being lime-based, a cement tile is etched by any acid, and this Carocim model is no exception. Wipe spills quickly, clean only with pH-neutral soap, and keep the pore sealer topped up to shield the soft violet and coral tones.

Yes, it is genuinely artisan-made: this cement tile is produced by hand in the workshops that craft for Carocim, using the traditional divider-mould technique. Each 20 × 20 cm piece is pigmented, pressed and slowly dried individually, which is why no two tiles of the Petit Pan motif are strictly identical.

The divider mould is the secret: for every tile, Carocim's artisans pour each pigment into the same brass-partitioned pattern, so the circles and symmetrical curves repeat faithfully. Slight shade variations remain — the signature of a handmade cement tile — and they soften beautifully once the floor is laid and grouted.
