Toumèto Green Pine Forest Tile

The umbrella-pine green of Carreau Grande Étoile Vert Pin Parasol directly evokes Mediterranean vegetation, somewhere between maritime pines and southern gardens. Combined with the geometric Grande Étoile pattern, this cement tile brings a warm feel close to houses in Provence or Andalusia. Carocim regularly draws on this palette for its most summery creations.

Carreau Grande Étoile Vert Pin Parasol is made in Carocim's French workshop, where every cement tile is still hand-pressed rather than mass-produced on an automated line. The green pigment, moulding and drying all take place on site, with no work outsourced abroad. This set-up guarantees full quality control at every stage.

The Grande Étoile collection mainly comes in several colourways of the same geometric pattern, rather than as dedicated companion pieces such as specific border tiles. To go with Carreau Grande Étoile Vert Pin Parasol, Carocim suggests a plain cement tile in a shade close to the pattern's green, laid around the edge of the room. This pairing creates a smooth transition without introducing too many different designs.

Yes, Carocim applies an anti-UV treatment to Carreau Grande Étoile Vert Pin Parasol, as with any cement tile intended for outdoor use. This protection preserves the intensity of the umbrella-pine green against prolonged sun exposure on a terrace or balcony. Regular cleaning with a neutral soap adds a further layer of defence against fading.

The thickness of Carreau Grande Étoile Vert Pin Parasol matches that of a classic cement tile, specifically designed to withstand foot traffic on a floor without cracking. This sturdiness comes from the hydraulic pressing and long drying time used in Carocim's production, denser than a simple decorative wall tile.
