Déscription du carreau Electric Blue & Source Blue Granite Tile

Carocim invited Petit Pan to breathe new life into each of its flagship models.

The Granite Bleu Electric & Bleu Source cement tile from Carocim's new ⟨RE⟩Visité collection is crafted using precise handwork, requiring six steps, all carried out by the artisan. This tile requires no firing and very little water during its production. Any slight variation or irregularity is a testament to the tile's authenticity and is an integral part of the handcrafted manufacturing process.

Usage recommendations
This product is not recommended for outdoor use.
Neon pigments, being naturally less stable, can lose intensity when exposed to direct sunlight. To preserve the vibrancy of the colors over time, we recommend installation in windowless rooms (bathrooms, hallways, etc.) and the mandatory application of a UV-resistant coating.

FAQ

Vos questions fréquentes

How can the small irregularities of Carreau Granit Bleu Electric & Bleu Source be explained?

Handmade means alive: each Carocim cement tile is pigmented and pressed one by one, so pattern intensity varies subtly from piece to piece across the blue, water-green, beige and neon-yellow zones. Mix tiles from several boxes as you lay them and these nuances blend into a rich, harmonious surface.

Which colour combination do you recommend with Carreau Granit Bleu Electric & Bleu Source?

Yes, slightly — like all mineral pigments: warm bulbs deepen the blue and soften the neon yellow of this Carocim cement tile, while cool white light sharpens its graphic contrast. Test a sample under your own lighting; the Petit Pan geometry keeps its structure beautifully in every scenario.

How do I apply the water-repellent sealer to Carreau Granit Bleu Electric & Bleu Source myself?

Matt is actually the classic choice for a cement tile: pore-filling water- and oil-repellent sealers with a natural, invisible finish preserve the velvety surface this material is loved for. Apply on clean, dry tiles after laying, and your Carocim colours — blue, water green, beige, neon yellow — stay true without gloss.

What is the price of Carreau Granit Bleu Electric & Bleu Source per square metre?

€226.80 per square metre is the listed price of this Carocim cement tile. Each box of 12 pieces covers 0.48 m², with 25 tiles needed per square metre. Remember the usual 10% cutting allowance when you build your budget, and round up to complete boxes.

What visual effect does the pattern of Carreau Granit Bleu Electric & Bleu Source create once laid?

Drawn within the Petit Pan collaboration with Carocim, this pattern arranges diamonds and triangles around a central square — a composition designed to connect tile after tile into a continuous woven effect. The studio's luminous palette turns a traditional cement tile technique into a thoroughly contemporary graphic statement.
