Hex Kaleidoscope Caviar Tile

Two things, essentially: pigments embedded in the tile's wear layer rather than printed on top, and the anti-UV treatment Carocim systematically applies to its outdoor cement tiles. Together they keep the blue-grey, black, light grey and white facets of Kaleidoscope Caviar true to their real colours outside. Rated for exterior use, this hexagon just asks for regular sealing.

In its catalogue version, Kaleidoscope Caviar combines blue grey, black, light grey and white across its kaleidoscope facets. Because every Carocim cement tile is coloured by hand from the house palette, a softer off-white background can be discussed as a custom colourway: contact the workshop with your project to confirm feasibility, lead time and pricing for a bespoke run.

Yes, eclectic settings suit it perfectly: anchor the room with a defined field of Kaleidoscope Caviar, then let its blue-grey, black, light grey and white facets dialogue with brass, wood, velvet or vintage finds. Keep neighbouring surfaces fairly calm so the Carocim cement tile reads as the composition's graphic backbone rather than competing with every object.

Each colourway rewrites this pattern: in the Caviar palette, the black and blue-grey facets deepen the shadows of the kaleidoscope, so the triangles read as a sculpted, almost faceted-stone relief. Lighter sister versions feel airier, while this Carocim cement tile by Coco Brun & Aurélia Paoli delivers the most dramatic, contemporary depth of the series.

Four shades already work outdoors on Kaleidoscope Caviar itself: blue grey, black, light grey and white, all protected by the anti-UV treatment Carocim systematically applies to its exterior cement tiles. When composing a bespoke colourway from the U palette, confirm your selected references with the workshop, which validates each shade for outdoor exposure before production.
