Hex Kaleidoscope Swan Tile

No, they are part of the craft: minute pinholes or air marks appear naturally when a cement tile is poured and pressed by hand, and they do not affect the strength or lifespan of Kaleidoscope Cygne. Sealing fills and protects the surface, and once the black and white facets are laid, these Carocim signatures melt into the pattern.

Kaleidoscope Cygne shares the Coco Brun collection with its sister colourways, Caviar, Chicorée and Hibou, all built on the same kaleidoscope facets by Coco Brun & Aurélia Paoli. Pairing the black and white Cygne with a softer sister shade creates a graded, gallery-like floor, while plain Carocim cement tiles give the composition breathing space.

19 tiles per box cover 0.67 m², enough to plan a bathroom floor or feature wall quickly. Kaleidoscope Cygne handles the room's humidity once properly sealed with a pore-filler and maintained with neutral soap, never acid or bleach. Its black and white kaleidoscope facets give a bathroom the crisp, contemporary edge this Carocim cement tile is loved for.

A childhood toy started it all: the kaleidoscope, whose shifting mirrored symmetries designers Coco Brun & Aurélia Paoli froze into triangular facets for Carocim. In the Cygne version, the story is told in pure black and white, the moment when scattered fragments lock into a perfect figure, captured forever on a hexagonal cement tile.

Yes, in the sense that matters: Kaleidoscope Cygne is rated for outdoor use, and Carocim systematically applies an anti-UV treatment to its exterior cement tiles, protecting the pigments so black and white stay true to their real colours. That standard protection, applied to every outdoor tile of the range, is your practical guarantee of lightfast behaviour.
