FAQ

Vos questions fréquentes

How much does Carreau Ikat Velvet come to per square metre once laid?

€378.00 per square metre: that is the rate applied to Carreau Ikat Velvet by Carocim, with no separate trade pricing listed on this cement tile's product sheet. For a large project or a trade account, it remains possible to request a tailored quote directly from Carocim.

Is Carreau Ikat Velvet sold by the box or individually?

Sales format varies by model at Carocim: some can be bought individually, others only by the full box. Carreau Ikat Velvet follows the full-box logic, with 24 tiles covering 0.48 m², the standard sales unit for this rectangular cement tile.

How many centimetres does Carreau Ikat Velvet measure?

No, Carreau Ikat Velvet does not come in a 20x20 cm format: this cement tile has an elongated 20 x 10 cm rectangular shape. Compared with larger square tiles, this format creates a more dynamic visual rhythm once installed, a Carocim signature for the Ikat range.

How do I estimate the number of boxes of Carreau Ikat Velvet for a 6 square metre bathroom?

Borders, corners and cuts around doorframes always create material waste during installation. That is why Carocim recommends ordering more Carreau Ikat Velvet than the strict surface area to cover, a standard margin for any rectangular cement tile of this kind.

Why does Carreau Ikat Velvet stand up so well to the sun?

A systematic anti-UV treatment is what protects Carreau Ikat Velvet from the effects of the sun. Carocim applies it to every cement tile intended for outdoor use, stabilising the pigments and greatly limiting fading, even on the boldest colourways in the range.
