Pink Algae Tile

The Pink Alga is part of the SU.Real collection, designed by Marta Pignol for Carocim®, from the "Symbols" picture book.

In a surreal interpretation, pink algae embodies the secret life of the deep, organic suppleness, and the marine imagination. It symbolizes the link between the body, water, and floating dreams.

Each tile is handcrafted using a demanding artisanal method. Composed of cement, sand, marble powder, and natural pigments, it is made without firing, using minimal water. Its texture and any slight irregularities reveal the artisan's touch and enhance its uniqueness.
