The Eye Tile

The Eye is part of the SU.Real collection, designed by Marta Pignol for Carocim®, from the "Symbols" picture book.

In Surrealism, the eye is a powerful symbol of perception, revelation, and inner truth. It embodies the gaze of the unconscious, the vision beyond reality, and the power of the imagination.

Each tile is handcrafted using a demanding artisanal method. Composed of cement, sand, marble powder, and natural pigments, it is made without firing, using minimal water. Its texture and any slight irregularities reveal the artisan's touch and enhance its uniqueness.
