Tile the Mouth

The Mouth is part of the SU.Real collection, designed by Marta Pignol for Carocim®, from the "Flavors" picture book. In Surrealism, the mouth is simultaneously an object of desire, a source of pleasures diverted from taste, oscillating between sensuality, humor, and memory. It explores the symbolism of liberated or perverted speech, and a fragment of the body staged like a dream. A nod to our gourmand instincts.

Each tile is handcrafted using a demanding artisanal method. Composed of cement, sand, marble powder, and natural pigments, it is made without firing, using minimal water. Its texture and any slight irregularities reveal the artisan's touch and enhance its uniqueness.
