Carreau the Moth

The Moth is part of the SU.Real collection, designed by Marta Pignol for Carocim®, from the "Animals" picture book.

In the surrealist universe, the moth evokes an attraction to darkness, mystery, and silent transformation. A nocturnal creature, it embodies the link between the unconscious, shadow, and the fragile beauty of that which eludes the light.

Each tile is handcrafted using a demanding artisanal method. Composed of cement, sand, marble powder, and natural pigments, it is made without firing, using minimal water. Its texture and any slight irregularities reveal the artisan's touch and enhance its uniqueness.
