Pink Butterfly Tile

On this Carocim cement tile, pink takes the lead alongside a deep blue and a graphic black that shape the butterfly motif. In a bright room, let the pink breathe against light walls; in a darker space, warm lighting brings out this already vivid Papillon Rose palette even further — a pale grey grout keeps the pattern crisp without competing with the colours.

No, the Papillon Rose motif isn't designed to continue from one tile to the next: each Carocim cement tile carries its own butterfly with rounded, symmetrical wings, conceived as a standalone piece. The intended effect is a patchwork of individual motifs rather than a running frieze — a delicate, expressive result rooted in a contemporary Pop and Surrealist style rather than any single historic era.

A Papillon Rose box covers 0.48 m² across 12 cement tiles, with a reference quantity of 25 m² for this Carocim design. There's no automatic online calculator on the product page, but dividing your total surface by 0.48 m² quickly gives the number of boxes needed — and for out-of-square walls, adding roughly 10% extra covers cutting losses.

At 16 mm thick, this solid cement tile — the Papillon Rose — offers strong everyday durability. This Carocim design is rated for outdoor use, which means it's more than suited to an indoor bathroom too, provided a suitable water- and oil-repellent sealer is applied to handle splashes and steam.

Rated for outdoor use, this cement tile gets a systematic anti-UV treatment from Carocim before it ships. The pink, blue and black pigments of the rounded-wing butterfly motif keep their intensity under prolonged sun exposure, with no special upkeep beyond the usual cement tile care routine.
