Fish Tile

The Fish is part of the SU.Real collection, designed by Marta Pignol for Carocim®, from the picture book "Flavours".

A rich and ambivalent symbol, in Surrealism the fish is often associated with the unconscious, mystery and mutation.

Each tile is handcrafted using a demanding artisanal method. Composed of cement, sand, marble powder, and natural pigments, it is made without firing, using minimal water. Its texture and any slight irregularities reveal the artisan's touch and enhance its uniqueness.
