Carreau le Portail

Like any artisanal cement tile, the Portail is first poured then pressed in a mould before a slow open-air drying period that's essential to its strength. This process, central to Carocim's craftsmanship, takes several days and explains why each piece shows slight natural variation from one pink, midnight blue, black and white tile to the next.

Yes, midnight blue is already part of the Portail's palette, paired with pink, black and white on this Carocim cement tile. Carocim doesn't publish sales rankings by colourway, but it's precisely this contrast between deep and light tones that gives the archway motif its mysterious, graphic character.

The Portail's motif shows a central archway opening onto a radiating perspective, in pink, midnight blue, black and white on this square 20 x 20 cm cement tile. Producing this dreamlike, graphic composition requires a correspondingly detailed mould, and Carocim doesn't offer a simplified alternative version of this particular design.

At 20 x 20 cm and priced at €245.70/m², this Carocim cement tile's dominant pink sits close to the soft tones of the U colour chart, though no exact swatch reference is listed on the Portail's product page. Printed swatches give a close approximation, but Carocim always recommends ordering a physical sample to confirm the exact match before committing to an order.

At €245.70/m², the Portail follows Carocim's standard price grid for this SU.Real collection cement tile. The product data doesn't specify whether volume discounts or VAT are included in that rate, so for a large-surface project it's best to contact Carocim directly to confirm the exact terms.
