Carreau le Portail

The Portal is part of the SU.Real collection, designed by Marta Pignol for Carocim®, from the "Universe" imagery. A passage between worlds, the portal symbolizes access to the unknown, the transition to the imaginary, and the opening of possibilities. In Surrealist thought, it embodies the magical threshold between visible reality and inner reality. Each tile is handcrafted using a demanding artisanal method. Composed of cement, sand, marble powder, and natural pigments, it is made without firing, with reduced water consumption. Its texture and any irregularities reveal the artisan's hand and reinforce its uniqueness.
