Diamond the Snake

The Snake is part of the SU.Real collection, designed by Marta Pignol for Carocim®, from the "Animals" picture book.

In Surrealism, the snake is an ambivalent symbol, at once instinctive, enigmatic, and transformative. It embodies the deep forces of the unconscious, molting, desire, but also fear and the unknown.

Each tile is handcrafted using a demanding artisanal method. Composed of cement, sand, marble powder, and natural pigments, it is made without firing, using minimal water. Its texture and any slight irregularities reveal the artisan's touch and enhance its uniqueness.
