Déscription du carreau Mushroom Tile

Mushrooms is part of the SU.Real collection, designed by Marta Pignol for Carocim®, in the creative line of Flavors.

In a surrealist reading, the mushroom is a tool of transformation, a trigger for physical and mental metamorphoses, and a powerful symbol of dreams, the absurd, and the marvelous.

Each tile is handcrafted using a demanding artisanal method. Composed of cement, sand, marble powder, and natural pigments, it is made without firing, using minimal water. Its texture and any slight irregularities reveal the artisan's touch and enhance its uniqueness.

FAQ

Vos questions fréquentes

Is the Carreau les Champignons tile square or hexagonal?

It's square, in a 20 x 20 cm format: this Carocim cement tile follows the SU.Real collection's standard rather than a hexagonal shape. No larger size is listed for this reference — its 16 mm thickness and box of 12 pieces covering 0.48 m² match the collection's other square designs.

How many models does the collection of Carreau les Champignons include?

The Champignons, a cement tile from Carocim's SU.Real collection, belong to a Pop and Surrealist line featuring numerous figurative and animal motifs, from the butterfly to the snake to the fish. The exact number of references isn't specified in the product data, and Carocim doesn't mention limited editions within this particular range.

Is the pattern of Carreau les Champignons identical on every tile?

12 tiles per box, each showing its own composition of stylised mushrooms with dotted caps, in red, white and grey. This Carocim cement tile therefore isn't identical from one piece to the next, and Carocim doesn't reference any comparable motif produced elsewhere for this playful, dreamlike design.

How is Carreau les Champignons packaged?

Carocim ships each reference as a full box rather than loose pieces: the Champignons box holds 12 cement tiles covering 0.48 m². This standard packaging makes transport and on-site handling easier, protects the edges from chipping in transit, and keeps a consistent set of motifs together for installation.

Will my Carreau les Champignons tiling turn yellow in the sun?

The red, white and grey of the Champignons are already protected against yellowing under normal outdoor use, thanks to the systematic anti-UV treatment Carocim applies to this cement tile. Regular care with a suitable cleaning product further supports this colour retention over the years, and a water- and oil-repellent sealer sealer adds an extra layer of protection outdoors.
