Déscription du carreau Tile the Night Clouds

Night Clouds is part of the SU.Real collection, designed by Marta Pignol for Carocim®, from the "Universe" picture book.

Dark veils of the sky, night clouds translate into surrealism fleeting thoughts, the mysteries of the unconscious, and the shifting beauty of darkness. They symbolize deep dreams, introspection, and the ephemeral appearance of mental forms.

Each tile is handcrafted using a demanding artisanal method. Composed of cement, sand, marble powder, and natural pigments, it is made without firing, using minimal water. Its texture and any slight irregularities reveal the artisan's touch and enhance its uniqueness.

Is the pattern of Carreau les Nuages de Nuit an original design?

Two shades of blue, midnight and light, make up this Carocim cement tile's motif of a sky scattered with floating clouds. Carocim credits Marta Pignol's SU.Real collection for this contemplative, poetic design, an original creation rather than an adaptation of an existing pattern.

Which grout should I choose to show off Carreau les Nuages de Nuit?

On a figurative cement tile like the Nuages de Nuit, a thin, neutral-toned grout joint best shows off the midnight and light blue of the design. Carocim recommends a double-buttered adhesive fix over a properly level, screeded base, which limits height differences between tiles and keeps the motif looking crisp.

Is Carreau les Nuages de Nuit sold by the box or individually?

By the box only: this Carocim cement tile is sold in full boxes of 12 pieces, each covering 0.48 m². It isn't available as a single tile, which keeps a consistent set of cloud motifs together for laying the Nuages de Nuit.

Can other shades from the U colour chart be chosen for Carreau les Nuages de Nuit?

This Carocim cement tile comes in midnight blue and light blue, a fixed combination for the Nuages de Nuit design. The product data doesn't reference an online U colour chart for this specific tile, so it's best to contact Carocim directly to check what's available.

Is the Carreau les Nuages de Nuit tile UV-resistant?

Priced at €245.70/m², this Carocim cement tile — the Nuages de Nuit — carries the systematic anti-UV treatment applied to every outdoor-rated reference. The midnight and light blue tones keep their intensity under prolonged direct sunlight as a result, with no special upkeep needed beyond the usual cement tile care routine.
