Carocim invited Petit Pan to breathe new life into each of its flagship models.

The Mikko Cool Grey cement tile from Carocim's new ⟨RE⟩Visité collection is crafted using precise handwork, requiring six steps, all carried out by the artisan. This tile is an eco-friendly flooring option made from natural pigments, sand, marble, and cement. It requires no firing and very little water during its production.

Any slight variation or irregularity testifies to the guarantee of authenticity of this tile and is an integral part of the manual manufacturing process.

Usage recommendations
This product is not recommended for outdoor use.
Neon pigments, being naturally less stable, can lose intensity when exposed to direct sunlight. To preserve the vibrancy of the colors over time, we recommend installation in windowless rooms (bathrooms, hallways, etc.) and the mandatory application of a UV-resistant coating.

What is the value for money of Carreau Mikko Gris Froid?

Yes, the price is fully justified: at €226.80 per m², Carreau Mikko Gris Froid is a handcrafted cement tile with pigments embedded in the body. Compared with industrial tiling, Carocim offers an exclusive motif signed by Petit Pan, a unique character and durability you appreciate over decades.

How can Carreau Mikko Gris Froid be worked into a contemporary decor?

Its grey, blue and yellow trio makes it a natural ally of contemporary interiors: Carreau Mikko Gris Froid pairs with polished concrete, black metal and pale wood. Lay this Carocim cement tile as a central rug or splashback for a controlled graphic accent that never saturates the space.

Does Carreau Mikko Gris Froid also come as skirting tiles or border tiles?

20 x 20 cm and 16 mm thick: that is the listed format for Carreau Mikko Gris Froid, with no skirting or border mentioned on its sheet. Contact Carocim to complete a layout. This square cement tile works in full fields as well as in custom-cut borders.

How can the shine of Carreau Mikko Gris Froid be revived after a few years?

Over the years, a cement tile develops a patina and may lose a little depth. To revive Carreau Mikko Gris Froid, clean with pH-neutral soap, then renew the water- and oil-repellent pore sealer on a clean, dry surface. Never acid or bleach: gentleness remains the golden rule at Carocim.

Does the pattern of Carreau Mikko Gris Froid evoke antique tiles?

No, not really a throwback: its central hexagon and circular shapes in grey, blue and yellow are resolutely contemporary. Signed by Petit Pan for Carocim, this cement tile claims a balanced, current graphic style far from classic rosettes — precisely what sets it apart on floors and walls alike.
