Paloma Black & White Tile

16 mm of thickness formed under a hydraulic press: Carreau Paloma Noir & Blanc is a pressed, never-fired cement tile. At Carocim, the black and white pigments are poured into a mould through a divider, then compacted by the press before a long air-drying period. This artisanal shaping gives the stylised swallow motif its crisp lines and lasting depth.

Minor millimetre-scale differences from tile to tile are part of Carocim's artisanal production; laying with fine joints absorbs them easily and keeps the swallow pattern perfectly aligned across the floor.

No fading to fear: made for outdoor use, Carreau Paloma Noir & Blanc receives the anti-UV treatment Carocim systematically applies to its exterior cement tiles. The pigments are shielded from solar radiation, so the black stays deep and the white stays clean, on a terrace or around a pool, year after year.
