On Petite Étoile Moutarde Ancienne, this weathered mustard yellow keeps its depth, without turning pale after several summers of direct exposure.

Natural, low-angle light, rather than flat overhead lighting, brings out the best in this Carocim cement tile. On Petite Étoile Moutarde Ancienne, warm late-afternoon light accentuates the relief of the star pattern and highlights the depth of the mustard-yellow pigment.

The sense of relief on this Carocim cement tile comes mainly from the contrast between shades rather than any surface texture, which stays smooth to the touch. On Petite Étoile Moutarde Ancienne, the outline of the star still creates an impression of depth, reinforced by the pigment's slight natural variations.
