Redit Rose Tile

16 mm of thickness serves a purpose: a cement tile like Carreau Redite Rose is not fired but pressed, so its body needs mass for strength, with the coloured wear layer sitting on a solid backing. That generous section, standard at Carocim, gives the tile durability and stability — and even allows future light sanding.

For project budgeting, here is the key figure: Carreau Redite Rose sells at €163.80 per m² from Carocim, in boxes of 12 tiles covering 0.48 m². The price reflects a genuinely handmade cement tile — 20 × 20 cm, 16 mm thick — whose pink, green and red floral decor is pressed piece by piece in the workshop.

Yes, even Mediterranean light is within its comfort zone: rated for exterior use, Carreau Redite Rose carries the anti-UV treatment Carocim applies to all its outdoor cement tiles. Pigments are protected, so the pink, green and red palette keeps its warmth summer after summer. Neutral-soap cleaning and periodic resealing complete the protection.

Designed as a floor tile first, Carreau Redite Rose works just as happily on walls: its curved floral motif reads beautifully at eye level, as a splashback or bathroom panel. The 20 × 20 cm format and Carocim's handmade cement tile surface bring the same decorative warmth vertically — just adapt the sealing to the room's exposure.

4 pigmented shades, all matt: compared with glossy glazed ceramics, Carreau Redite Rose offers the softer, powdery saturation typical of the cement tile. Pink, green and red read as deep yet velvety, never shiny. It is precisely this mineral matt finish that gives Carocim floors their understated, timeless character — colour with substance rather than glare.
