FAQ

Vos questions fréquentes

Does Carreau Soleil Poterie come in this colourway?

Three shades define Carreau Soleil Poterie itself: terracotta, pale pink and beige, the soft, sunlit palette that makes this version a favourite among the Soleil designs at Carocim. Its sister colourways cover deeper moods, from malachite green to deep blue. For current bestsellers, browse Carocim.com, where each cement tile variant is presented side by side.

Should I worry about Carreau Soleil Poterie fading outdoors?

Stability starts at the workshop: rated for outdoor use, Carreau Soleil Poterie receives the anti-UV treatment Carocim systematically applies to its exterior cement tiles. The terracotta, pale pink and beige pigments are thereby protected from sunlight and keep their real colours over time, so the abstract sun keeps radiating exactly as it did on day one.

Is the pattern of Carreau Soleil Poterie inspired by traditional designs?

Yes, the name says it plainly: the pattern represents an abstract sun, its stylised rays spreading from the tile in warm terracotta, pale pink and beige. Designers Coco Brun & Aurélia Paoli drew it for Carocim to capture southern light in ceramic-free, handcrafted form: a cement tile that radiates gentleness, craft and luminosity across any surface.

How thick is the Carreau Soleil Poterie tile?

Carreau Soleil Poterie measures 16 mm thick, the traditional build of a genuine handcrafted cement tile: a pigmented wear layer in terracotta, pale pink and beige bonded to a compact mortar body. That substance gives the 20 x 20 cm Carocim tile its durability on floors and walls alike; just check door clearances before installation.

Does Carreau Soleil Poterie belong to a collection designed by a well-known designer?

Two designers, one sunny vision: coco Brun & Aurélia Paoli built the Coco Brun collection at Carocim around light-filled graphic motifs, suns, palms and kaleidoscopes, rendered in soft contemporary palettes. Carreau Soleil Poterie translates that inspiration into terracotta, pale pink and beige, a cement tile that carries Mediterranean warmth into modern interiors.
